[[As soon as she set foot in Violet City, Emmy immediately sought out the Gym for a battle! However, if you've got your Pokegear on or you're near the Pokemon Centre, you'll see her and her Machop emerging, looking...rather defeated.]]

Well, that certainly could've gone better.

[[Almost in unison, the pair sigh and seat themselves on a bench outside the centre.]]

That Falkner fellow had some horribly powerful Pokemon! That creepy owl....gosh, I had no idea what to do! Perhaps we shouldn't have rushed in there so soon. I'm sorry, Machi.

[[The Machop frantically waves her arms and points to herself, before sighing and slapping her palm against her forehead.]]

It wasn't your fault!

[[Emmy smiles, and puts a friendly arm around her Pokemon's shoulders.]]

Don't worry, Machi. The Professor wouldn't give up and neither will we! We just have to train harder so that next time, we're ready! We're not going to lose to the likes of him!

We have that in common, actually! The only pokemon I've ever actually caught myself was Bug, when I had you coaching me! My other two were gifts.

What makes it extra good for me is that people from my home world are here! My boss, his apprentice, even an older version of said apprentice! It's so nice seeing familiar faces.

Plenty, actually. A few old military buddies, mostly. [ er... co-workers... not sure he'd call them all 'buddies' at this point... ] Also a few non-military friends!

Yes, lets see... There's the Elrics [ two fingers down ], Roy, Archer, and Kimblee, and that's just from the military!

[ He's not going to count Bradley. Because... what... no. He almost didn't count Kimblee, honestly. Not after that whole philosopher's stone fiasco. ]

We've mostly been scattered around the area, but it's nice to have familiar faces around!

I don't believe there are many who choose to wear white suits, so, most likely we're thinking of the same man.

Ah, yes I have! Well, not in person yet. But we're going to be meeting for coffee once he's in the area!

We served together years ago! Didn't get a chance to keep in touch afterwards, though. [ You know, prison and all... no big deal... ] Caught up a little, once we found each other here!

My family? Well, there isn't too much to tell, I'm afraid! But my uncle has been teaching me martial arts since I was a little girl. I've gotten rather good under his tutelage!
