One year today! 

[[Good morning Johto! Today on the feed, you'll be being greeted by the sight of one Emmy Altava, standing with her index finger raised in the air, a smile on her face and Goldenrod city in the background. It's the 17th of December; exactly a year since she arrived in Johto, and Emmy is feeling rather buzzed about it all. It's like an anniversary of sorts!]] 

That's how long I've been here; exactly one year. Time certainly does fly when you're having fun, doesn't it? I mean, I still miss London, but I feel there's so much more to explore in this world even after being here as long as I have. I've made some wonderful friends, both human and not! 

[[With a flourish, she whips out her trusty notebook, pen poised over a blank page.]]

 So, everyone! For those of you that have been here a year or longer, tell me your favourite things about Johto! Do you still enjoy it here? Have you explored all there is to explore? What secrets or mysteries or puzzles have you uncovered? That question also goes to those of you who are newer, by the way! The Professor- [[-for a moment, Emmy's bright smile fades, before she quickly forces it back on her face; the Professor wouldn't want to see her sad, after all-]] -may not be here any more but that doesn't mean I can slack off as his assistant! 

[[Pausing for a moment, Emmy chuckles to herself.]] 

One year in Johto for assistant number 1! How terribly fitting.

And yes, I'm very eager! Really, I'm quite looking forward to the whole thing- [[-we ignore Archer's general existence thank you-]] -and I'm rather keen! When did you want to head over there?

Well, it's a far shorter trip for me than it is for you; I've returned home for the time being, there were some things that I needed to handle here. So just as soon as you can, really; I wouldn't want to be deprived of your admittedly fantastic company for much longer. Just let me know once you've reached town? We'll be ready for you whenever you arrive; even if the snow refuses to let up sufficiently, we could always stay here - there's more than enough space, really, you've seen it.

Well, I'll head off at first light tomorrow, then!

[[She has a few things to do before she leaves, you see. Speaking of which-]]

Ah, Mr Kimblee; I know you don't have much of a preference, but what's your favourite kind of dessert?

Dessert...? Well, to be blunt, at this point it's "Just about everything Isaac won't let me touch."

[because as much as he cares about that boy he won't let him touch anything that isn't good for you in about sixty different ways

he eats a lot of leaves when isaac is around

and isaac will be coming up here as well when you do

I don't tend to like things overly sweet, I can offer you that much - dark chocolate as opposed to white, that sort of thing. I prefer things on the bitter side more than anything else.

Baking again, I'm assuming?
